Jaye Calhoun, Panelist at Paul J. Hartman SALT Forum

Jaye Calhoun will serve as a panelist at the annual Paul J. Hartman State and Local Tax Forum held October 28-30. Jaye, along with Clark Calhoun of Alston & Bird LLP, Ryan Finley of Tax Notes, and Matt Tidwell of Alabama Department of Revenue, will discuss how to document intercompany transactions in the first instance and how to work with auditors to ensure that proposed adjustments are consistent with the facts or applicable law. They will also mention other tools states use to address what they perceive to be abuse, including alternative apportionment, economic substance, addback statutes and more.
