Jill Gautreaux is a partner in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. She joined the firm in 2015 and practices in the real estate and business practice groups. Jill regularly assists clients in the hospitality, retail, and professional services sectors with corporate matters, real estate transactions including acquisition, borrowing, and leasing of commercial property and land use matters, liquor licensing, and condominium regimes. Jill’s ability to resolve complex and difficult circumstances with legal acuteness and decorum have made her a trusted business associate for many local, regional, and national members of the hospitality, retail, and technology industries. Jill regularly appears on behalf of her clients in administrative proceedings involving boards and commissions in Louisiana and litigation involving administrative agency appeals.
Jill is at the forefront of CBD, hemp, and alcohol licensing and compliance in Louisiana. She assists local and out-of-state enterprises in all three tiers of the hemp and alcoholic beverage industries in applying for licenses to produce and sell goods in the state, providing advice regarding compliance with state and local laws, and defending enforcement actions by administrative agencies.
Jill is a licensed title insurance agent for Fidelity National Title Insurance Company & First American Title Insurance Company and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. She has been recognized by New Orleans CityBusiness as a 2023 Leadership in Law Honoree. Jill is serving a one-year term as a member of the Louisiana Bar Foundation Greater Orleans Community Partnership Panel.
