Josiah Kollmeyer is an associate in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the Firm in 2022 and practices with the energy and environmental litigation group. Josiah represents clients in a variety of oil field legacy, coastal wetlands, and commercial litigation matters.
Before joining the Firm, Josiah served as a law clerk to The Honorable Kyle Duncan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, The Honorable Mark Martin of the Supreme Court of North Carolina, and most recently as assistant solicitor general for the Louisiana Department of Justice. During law school, he served as the editor of the Harvard Human Rights Journal and senior editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Josiah is listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2023-2024.
Josiah earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Hillsdale College in 2014. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2017.
