Kean Miller Supports Sentinel Midstream with Texas GulfLink MARAD Approval

Kean Miller was recently recognized by our client, Sentinel Midstream, for our assistance in helping to obtain a positive Record of Decision for its Texas GulfLink deepwater port from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration. The Texas GulfLink terminal allows VLCC’s to be fully loaded with crude oil 30 miles offshore for export. Once commissioned, Texas GulfLink is expected to reduce costs, reduce vessel traffic, and reduce air emissions associated when compared to the current reverse lightering process for loading tankers with crude oil.
