Shearil Matthews is an associate in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. She joined the firm in 2022 and practices with the labor and employment law group.
While in law school, Shearil served as Junior Editor and Editor in Chief of the Southern University Law Review. She was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and Women in Law.
Shearil earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Southern University Law Center in 2022. She earned her M.B.A. in Human Resources from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2017 and her B.S. in Marketing and Management from University of New Orleans.
