Whether advising entrepreneurs, investors, established companies, major brands, or established global corporations, Tim Robinson remains dedicated to serving as outside counsel and advisor to his clients. A Baton Rouge native, Tim’s clients reflect the menagerie of local small businesses, national privately held companies, and publicly traded companies with international operations, seeking to leverage their investment in and presence across the Gulf Coast.
Tim takes the time to understand each client’s specific industry sector, the challenges they face, and the specific priorities, benchmarks, and ambitions they seek to realize. In everything he does – including answering a seemingly simple client question or making essential legal recommendations that fortify his client’s potential earnings – Tim brings the legal acumen and business-minded perspective to support each client’s often distinct vision.
Tim’s legal skills range from entity formation, governance, and operational advice to negotiating, documenting, and closing transactions, including all types of financing, commercial real estate, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations, public and private investments, and employment and non-competition agreements. He brings particular depth of experience to advising on all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of commercial, industrial, and other real property assets.
Whether Tim is guiding a Louisiana development corporation through the sale of commercial properties across the country; navigating a small business through restructuring their entity to mitigate tax consequences; or advising lenders and debt purchasers on legal due diligence, collateral review, and opinion letters for multimillion-dollar construction projects, he will go the distance to achieve the optimal result for his client on time and on budget.
