Will Mathews is an associate in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2023 and practices with the casualty and mass tort litigation group. Prior to joining the firm, Will served as a federal judicial extern to Chief Judge Shelly D. Dick of the Middle District of Louisiana.
While in law school, Will served as a Senior Editor and Junior Associate of the Louisiana Law Review. He was a Semifinalist, 2nd Best Brief, and 2nd Best Oralist in the Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court Competition and a Quarterfinalist in the Stutes-Kalinka National Tax Moot Court Team. He served as Secretary of the Tax Law Society and was a member of the Board of Advocates, Public Interest Law Society, and Maritime Law Society. Will graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif for the Class of 2023.
Will earned his J.D./D.C.L./G.C.E.P.T, magna cum laude, from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2023. He earned his B.S. in Accounting and Minor in Information Systems and Decisions Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2020.
