Andrew Mahtook focuses his practice on business, corporate, and real estate matters. He has experience representing and offering operational advice, contract review and drafting, and general transactional support to a wide range of both domestic and international companies in various industries and of various sizes.

Andrew especially enjoys partnering with young entrepreneurs to help turn their visions into reality. He takes pride in guiding start-ups and emerging businesses through critical stages of growth, from entity formation and structuring to navigating mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Andrew is passionate about providing strategic, practical advice that empowers entrepreneurs to achieve their goals and build a strong foundation for long-term success.

While in law school, Andrew completed a joint degree program with the A.B. Freeman School of Business where he earned his Master of Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. During this time, he completed two international consulting trips for clients in Faenza, Italy and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

EDUCATION

Andrew earned his J.D. and Certificate in Civil Studies, cum laude, from the Tulane University Law School and his M.B.A. in Finance from the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2020. He earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance from Louisiana State University in 2016.

While in law school, Andrew served as Senior Associate Editor of the Tulane Law Review and was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. During his undergraduate studies, he served as LSU Student Body President for the 2015-2016 academic year and as President of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Andrew was also a member of the ODK Honor Society and Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
