"I approach every litigation claim as if I were in my client’s shoes and then determine the most sensible and cost-effective way to proceed. I analyze their case from myriad points of view juxtaposed against the law and litigation procedure – all with a focus on safeguarding the best interests of their company in or out of court."

Glenn Farnet defends and prosecutes a variety of complex litigation matters in state and federal courts across Louisiana and beyond. He is particularly skilled in defending class action, toxic tort, mass tort, product liability, environmental, commercial, and casualty litigation.

Glenn delivers effective advocacy for Fortune 10 and other energy companies and business enterprises involved in significant, high-stakes disputes. He draws upon his three decades of extensive courtroom experience with an understanding of the complexities of legal proceedings and the fact that there is not a single path to achieving the desired outcome.

Glenn believes that every lawsuit requires a fresh perspective and customized approach to tactical strategy development and that every client deserves advice that parallels their business objectives and addresses their particular concerns and risk tolerance. He works closely with clients to determine the best course of action and is valued for his straightforward and grounded assessment of each case in terms of the facts, case law, and practical know-how.

Glenn's creativity often results in negotiating advantageous settlements outside of court and away from the public eye.

Glenn brings a tremendous depth of hands-on experience to catastrophic petrochemical industry accidents, such as large-scale explosions, fires, and all types of resulting injuries. Glenn is valued for bringing a sense of calm and clarity to even the most serious industrial accidents. Having arrived on site immediately after such events many times over the course of his career, Glenn is fluent in the mechanisms of accidents and in analyzing and identifying what went wrong.

Glenn served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Luther F. Cole, Associate Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. This unique experience provided Glenn with practical skills, knowledge, and insight into the inner workings of the highest court in the state, significantly expanding his abilities as a litigator and trial advocate at the onset of his career. Moreover, working closely with Judge Cole and interacting with the other judges provided Glenn with valuable mentorship and guidance that helped him cultivate the legal acuity he brings to every dispute today and the courtroom demeanor required to succeed before judges and juries alike.
