Jacob Malatek practices in the casualty and mass tort litigation group. Jacob has experience in a wide range of civil areas including litigation, construction, real estate, oil and gas, probate, and estate planning.
Jacob’s dedication to client service is evident in his ability to navigate complex legal issues with clarity and efficiency. He has extensive experience drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs at both the trial and appellate levels, and he continues to refine his advocacy skills in and out of the courtroom.
Jacob began his legal career in construction litigation, representing clients on both residential and commercial matters. Later, as a general practitioner in Brenham, Texas, he served a diverse range of clients in business and personal matters, further broadening his legal expertise.
Since joining Kean Miller, Jacob has continued to sharpen his litigation skills, representing clients across a range of matters, with a particular focus on the oil and gas services, construction, and insurance industries. His practice focuses on personal injury claims, contract disputes, and defense and indemnity issues.
