Senior Counsel

Janice Culotta is senior counsel in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller. She practices with the toxic tort, occupational exposure, and commercial litigation groups. Prior to rejoining the firm, Janice practiced with a local defense firm, and also was an Assistant District Attorney for the Parish of Orleans, where she gained extensive trial and courtroom experience. Janice has practiced in the areas of general civil litigation, including toxic tort defense, products liability, premises liability, professional liability and medical malpractice.

Janice is listed in Louisiana Super Lawyers 2021-2023.

Education

Janice earned her B.S. from Louisiana State University in 1973 and earned her M.Ed. from the University of New Orleans in 1984. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1994.
