Jessica Engler Receives the 2021 LADC Frank L. Maraist Award

Jessica Engler received the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (LADC) Frank L. Maraist Award on August 5, 2021 at the Annual Dinner.  Frank Maraist was the Executive Director of the LADC for over a quarter of a century, and he is now the Executive Director Emeritus. The award recognizes a young lawyer who has made outstanding achievement in his/her practice and exemplary contributions to the legal profession, to the defense bar and to his/her community. Award criteria include but are not limited to the following: professional excellence; service to the profession and the bar; commitment to pro bono work and community service; and contribution to furthering the ideals of the legal profession.

Jessica is a partner and registered patent attorney in the New Orleans office of Kean Miller and practices in the intellectual property, construction, and data security groups. She has experience in the many aspects of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, trade dress, and copyrights.
