Kean Miller Adds Environmental Partner to Industrial Legal Team

Kean Miller is pleased to announce the addition of Bryant R. Bremer as a partner in the firm’s downtown Baton Rouge office. A seasoned industry legal professional, Bryant practices in the areas of environmental regulation, compliance, incident and emergency response, and occupational exposure litigation.  With over 20 years of experience, Bryant recently served as in-house counsel to a Fortune 10 energy company’s Baton Rouge refining and chemical operations, as well as in private practice with law firms in Dallas and Baton Rouge.  He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, Texas, and Kansas.

While serving as lead on-site counsel at the fifth-largest refinery in the U.S., responsible for local environmental and compliance matters, Bryant advised site management and worked collaboratively with the safety, health and environmental, team on regulatory issues, enforcement, and permitting, including negotiations with EPA Region 6, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Louisiana State Police.  He also provided legal support during emergency incidents and on local employment, contract, and real estate matters.

Bryant earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law in 2001 and his B.S.N from the University of Kansas in 1998.
