Kean Miller Establishes Employee Assistance Fund
While our Baton Rouge office suffered no damage from the flood, many of our people suffered substantially. More than 20 of our Baton Rouge employees had their homes flooded, and many have no flood insurance. Many more of our families are impacted in one way or another, from housing evacuees, to staffing shelters, and from beginning clean-up efforts, to helping to rebuild lives and communities.
As we continue to assist our employees and their families, many of whom have seen unimaginable suffering, the firm has established the Kean Miller Employee Assistance Fund with the help of the Baton Rouge Area Foundation (BRAF). Donations can be accepted online.
If you are interested in making a contribution to the community at large, we are supporting the BRAF Louisiana Flood Relief Fund and the Capital Area United Way as two of the fastest ways to help the communities where we live and work.
Thank you for your calls and messages of support. In times like these, it is comforting to know we have friends we can count on.
