Kean Miller Receives Dutch Morial Award from Martinet Society

Kean Miller is pleased to announce that the firm received the Dutch Morial Award from the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of the Louis A. Martinet Legal Society.  The award recognizes the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.   The award was presented at the Society’s annual scholarship and awards gala.  Accepting the award on behalf of the firm were Victor J. Suane, Jr., and Jay M. Jalenak.

About the Louis A. Martinet Society

The Louis A. Martinet Society is the result of efforts made by African-American attorneys to combat racial injustices and inequalities that existed in the 1950’s.  The Society encourages the interchange of ideas, promotes legal scholarship, advances the science of jurisprudence, promotes the administration of justice, upholds the order and ethics of the courts, and promotes the welfare of the legal profession in Louisiana.
