Megan Rapp
PartnerMegan Rapp focuses her practice on business litigation and has managed state and federal litigation from the filing of the lawsuit through appeal. Megan handles a variety of litigation matters for businesses and individuals on both the plaintiff and defense side. She routinely represents clients in litigation involving claims for fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and tortious interference. Megan has also represented clients in negligence cases related to property damage and personal injury, employment disputes arising out of state and federal law, and cases involving construction defects and lien disputes.
Megan is a seasoned litigator and is listed in Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Business Litigation from 2018-2020.
Megan earned her J.D. and Certificate of Specialization in Law and Business from the Vanderbilt University Law School in 2010. While in law school, she served as the Executive Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law, received the Journal of Entertainment and Technology Best Student Note Award, and was a Board Member of the Women's Law Student Association.
Megan earned her M.S. in Information Systems and Advanced Certificate in Preservation Administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She earned her M.M. in Musicology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in Vocal Performance from The University of Alabama in 2003.
