Texas Bankruptcy Practice Flourishes at Kean Miller
Michelle Friery has joined the law firm of Kean Miller in its Houston office. She joins the quickly growing Texas-focused bankruptcy practice group that was formed earlier this year. Michelle brings a wealth of experience representing a wide range of clients in commercial bankruptcies, commercial litigation, real estate transactions, and appeals. She frequently represents both debtors and creditors, as well as Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and liquidating plan trustees.
Michelle is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. Before entering private practice, she served as a law clerk to Judge Wesley Steen of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and Justice Adele Hedges of the First Court of Appeals in Houston.
