Vic Suane Honored by the Louis A. Martinet Society
Kean Miller is pleased to announce that Victor J. Suane, Jr. has been chosen as the recipient of the 2016 Israel M. Augustine Award for his continuous work and support of the Louis A. Martinet Society. The Greater Baton Rouge Chapter will honor Vic at its 2016 Martinet Scholarship & Awards Gala on Saturday, March 12.
About Vic Suane
Vic was born in New Orleans and where he attended Brother Martin High School. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration, minoring in religious studies, from Rhodes College in 1998. Vic earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2007 from the Southern University Law Center, where he was a member of the Southern University Law Review and American Inns of Court.
Vic is a partner in the Baton Rouge office of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2007, and practices in the environmental and litigation groups. Vic represents local, regional and national clients in a variety of environmental, regulatory, commercial, and general litigation matters. He was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of Louisiana in 2014 by the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyer's Section, and is listed as a Rising Star by Louisiana Super Lawyers, 2016. Vic is also a past recipient of the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s President’s Award, and has served as a member of the Young Lawyers Section Council.
Active in our community, Vic is a past President and current Member of the Board of Directors for the Louisiana School for the Deaf Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. Vic is happily married to Angela Joy Suane, with whom he has two children, Jordyn [6] and Jacob [2].
