Will Huguet Selected as ALTAPL Board Member
Kean Miller is pleased to announce that William R. Huguet, has been selected as a 2020-2021 Board Member for the ARK-LA-TEX Association of Professional Landmen (ALTAPL). The purpose of the association is to serve as an unincorporated professional organization for men and women engaged for pecuniary gain or profit, but to inspire and maintain a high standard of professional conduct according to a Code of Ethics, to recognize and improve standing for the Landmen in the industry and in the community, to provide and promote the furtherance of education and educational opportunities for the personal professional development of all members of the Association, as well as for selected scholarship recipients, if any, and to encourage and promote involvement in local, state, and national issues which affect the mineral and energy industries.
About Will Huguet
Will Huguet joined the firm in 2014. He has more than fifteen years of experience assisting energy companies in the exploration and production of minerals, including sales and acquisitions, lease and contract rights, title, due diligence, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and litigation, and in representing landowners and companies in selling and purchasing property and managing their mineral and royalty interests. Will earned his B.B.A., cum laude, from Millsaps College in 1997 and earned his J.D. from the LSU Law Center in 2001. Prior to law school, Will was a professional landman in Lafayette, Louisiana.
