In addition, hundreds of our employees contribute to the firm's United Way campaign, and over 30 Kean Miller attorneys are Gottlieb Association contributors. Our partner Randy Young was the 2018 Board Chair of the Capital Area United Way.
Volunteer Health Corps of Baton RougeA team of business, health law, and health care regulatory attorneys from Kean Miller were instrumental in helping to form and organize the Volunteer Health Corps of Baton Rouge. The organization is a non-profit established to assist with providing care to the uninsured in the Baton Rouge community. The group is a link between the private practice community and LSU in an effort to assist the state in providing health care for those who need it the most -- and who are uninsured.
Louisiana AppleseedLouisiana Appleseed selected Kean Miller to receive the "Good Apple" award as a result of the firm's pro bono project on dating violence prevention. Kean Miller attorneys helped research, draft, and pass legislation that requires dating violence prevention be taught in all Louisiana high schools.
